…and just like that, it’s September.

Oh How The Seasons Change

Wasn’t Memorial Day just last weekend? I could have sworn it was only a couple of weeks ago I was looking forward to Summer. Now Summer is on her way out, and Fall is on his way in. I happen to love the Fall though, so no complaints here. The Fall season in my opinion is similar to Spring.  The Spring season is all about newness, beginnings, fresh starts and just springy stuff. In the Fall season, the things that were once new have now begun to wither away because they are no longer needed. I like to think of Fall as a shedding season. So in the same way Spring is about spring cleaning; getting rid of unnecessary things and making room for more things that are likely unnecessary, I see Fall in the same manner. Fall for me has now been dubbed the season of shedding. This is the season of lettings go of things I cannot take with me into the next season. You ever seen green leaves on trees in the dead of winter? Are petunias able to withstand the extreme temperatures Winter weather can bring? Exactly.

Letting It Go

What are you shedding this season? You may not realize it now but there is something or someone that is not going make the cut for Winter. When the seasons change (literally & figuratively), there isn’t anything we can do to stop it. The one thing we can do, is adapt accordingly. Are you prepared for the Fall? I don’t know about you but I’m looking forward to wearing sweaters, hoodies, boots and cute socks. I’m more-so looking forward to shedding more of the unnecessary.

Hate it or love it, the season is a’changing folks. Get in gear and be glad you made it to see the ending of yet another season.

Love all around,
